Environmental, social, and governance
Avarn Security is actively focusing on social responsibility and committed to UN sustainable development goals. To us, this is about meeting the needs of people living today, without damaging possibilities for future generations.
Below you will find an illustration showing the sustainable development goals Avarn Security have committed to (3, 4, 5, 8, 9,10, 12, 13, and 17). These are goals we actively seek to establish across the countries, businesses, and business areas.
We have customised each goal to make them recognisable and relevant to our own business areas. This is to make sure we have a common understanding of our own impact, so that we can take necessary action when needed and closely follow up on actions and results across the Group.
As part of our commitment to reduce climate changes, we use science-based targets to establish goals and reduce emissions, and to make strict demands on our suppliers’ environmental goals, methods, and results.
To document that our climate actions have the desired effect, we have committed to having them approved and followed up by SBTi. SBTi is a collaboration between CDP (Carbon Disclosure Project), UN Global Compact, World Resources Institute, and World Wide Fund for Nature.
The SBTi holds the world’s foremost climate scientists and analytics to ensure that companies establish climate goals that align with the Paris Agreement and with what climate science recommends, reducing global warming to 1,5°C.
HSSEQ and certifications
An important prerequisite for our growth is a strong business achieved through good management and well-established systems and procedures. This makes it possible to carry out strategic acquisitions as our systems can be rapidly implemented in new areas of the organisation to generate immediate results. We carry out systematic measurements to identify any shortcomings and implement necessary measures.
Risk reduction measures are integrated into our training systems. Our procedures and instructions direct our employees to take responsibility for their own safety. Avarn Security both expects and accepts that every individual should take responsibility for their own safety and that of others.
In addition to local laws and regulations, our operations comply with our own Code of Conduct. We constantly develop the responsibility of our operations and also require ethical and sustainable operations from our partners. Avarn Security has been granted an
